Bhutan in May

May to June in central Bhutan and it begins to get humid ahead of the monsoon season (July to September) with temperatures almost constantly between 15 and 25 °C. For many the month of May offers the last time to sample Bhutan's great outdoors before the monsoons but a dampener on everything. Royal Manas National Park is much loved-across the Kingdom with the government viewing is a something of a national showpiece. In a country of so many national parks that might be up for debate, but with wonders of the wild such as Ganges River dolphins, the one-horned rhinoceros, as well as elephants, it is hard to argue.
