Considered the best season to visit Armenia due to the relatively light rainfall and warm temperatures, summer lasts from mid-May to late may until early September, before the peak of summer, the temperature ranges from about 23 to 26C, but temperatures can reach around 35C in August. In the scenic mountain regions, however, the average summer temperature ranges between 10 and 22C, benefitting from the mix of elevation and subtropical climate. Average rainfall throughout Armenia is at its height in May but quickly tapers off to just five and four days of rainfall a month in July and August respectively.
