Atlantis The Royal
Situated on the crescent of the tree-shaped Palm Jumeirah, the massive 43-storey Atlantis The Royal offers 795 rooms with impressive views of the iconic island and picture-perfect Dubai skyline. Designed by Kohn Pederson Fox Associates, the architects behind New York’s One Vanderbilt, with the intent to introduce guests to Dubai in a big way, it emphasizes light, space, and pools in the sky. The rooms are spacious (the smallest measuring just under 600 square feet) with plenty of natural light from the floor to ceiling windows, and neutral color schemes and swirls of aquatic blue in the carpets. The large bathrooms have both walk-in-shower and standalone bath and are separated from the bedroom by privacy glass walls that become clear or opaque at the touch of a button. Guests will feel pampered with luxurious Frette bathrobes and Graff amenities that are exclusive to Atlantis The Royal. Their expansive spa treatment menu showcases a variety of beauty and wellness packages and their additional spa facilities include a halotherapy salt cave, hydrotherapy pool, aromatherapy, a charcoal sauna, and hammam sensorium. There are plenty of dining options covered by the resort’s 17 restaurants and bars that range from big-name celebrity chef concepts to an Emirati afternoon tea. This resort is located a 30-minute drive from the Dubai International Airport (DXB).
