Ariara Island

An 125-acre private island in the Palawan region, Ariara Island is one of the most stunning resorts in the Philippines. Only one party can book the fully-staffed property at a time (two to 20 guests), giving visitors ultimate exclusivity. The resort has 10 beach cottages and jungle villas, each with a large bedroom, a four-poster bed, a walk-in wardrobe, and an enormous marble bathroom with either a wooden bathtub or a marble bathtub hand-carved from a block of Romblon marble, plus an open-air shower. The cottages are surrounded on two sides by wide verandas with cooling ceiling fans, which provide ample room to relax and enjoy the view with comfortable seating, hammocks, and a breakfast table. The Lodge lies at the center of the settlement as a hub for guests to come together, socialize, dine (meals are prepared by private chefs), and entertain. There is also an infinity-edge swimming pool that looks out to the beach and the 140-meter pier, which has a cabana. Various water sports are available and the Island Manager is also a qualified PADI instructor, able to guide you on diving excursions to the private reef, nearby dive sights, and WWII shipwrecks, as well as on night dives. Yoga instruction, massage treatments, boat excursions, and photography services are available upon request. Ariara Island can be reached via private boat or helicopter transfer from Busuanga Airport in Coron, or by a chartered amphibious aircraft from Manila Bay.

There are four beach cottages available, each with a large bedroom that features a vaulted ceiling, a four-poster bed, and a walk-in wardrobe. The bathroom is luxuriously-appointed, done up in marble, with an open-air shower. Wide verandahs surround the villas, with the addition of ceiling fans to keep the hot weather at bay.

Jungle Villas

Jungle Villas

The resort’s Jungle Villas have been built on stilts, and thus provide stunning panoramas of both the surrounding jungle and the beachfront. Inside, there is a master bedroom, featuring a four-poster bed, as well as a dressing room. The bathroom is luxuriously-appointed, done up in marble, with walk-in shower. The villas feature spacious, shaded terraces with hanging loungers.

Ariara Island resort provides guests with a host of island activities and facilities, from yoga classes, to private massages available on request, to a wide range of water-based activities, and a stunning infinity pool.

Infinity Pool and Pier

The resort’s expansive infinity pool, located directly in front of the lodge, at the end of the pier, looks out over the beach. Its spacious sun deck is populated with comfortable sun loungers and bean bag chairs, complete with sun umbrellas.

Water Sports

What better activity to undertake on one’s own private paradise island than those that are water-based? The resort has its own jet skis, available for guests’ use, as well as snorkel gear, high quality fishing tackle, and a 33-foot speedboat.

The resort truly rolls out the red carpet in terms of its culinary offerings and service. Groups are treated to their own personal chef, available day and night, creating delectable dishes using only the finest produce, much of it found and grown on the island itself, while also making use of premium, imported ingredients.
Bespoke Meals

Bespoke Meals

Of course, guests may choose to dine outside of The Dining Room, should they so desire. Private dining experiences can be arranged in the form of a moonlit beach picnic, or a more social beach party BBQ, with the traditional Filipino Lechon (spit-roast pig).

Pier Cabana

Pier Cabana

The Pier Cabana, perched over the reef, serves up a selection of tantalizing cocktails to guests lounging in supple beanbags.
