We had a great time on the trip and were impressed by how seamlessly everything went and the quality of the guides. We are already thinking about the next trip we want to do with your team.

For our first stop in Thailand our guide was a perfect match for us. Within 24 hours he learned our style and personalities and really made our experience not only comfortable but like family. He was a perfect combination of a teacher, a leader and always checking on our happiness. The greatest fun has to have been the day we did the elephant farm! It was a magical experience to connect with these beautiful, elegant creatures. They do understand us and love us back. I felt deeply deeply connected to my elephant and will never ever forget the time I spent with him. Just an honor. The moment we landed in Yangon I could sense that everything was different and unfamiliar. Our conservative and intelligent guide, was so versed in teaching us the the history of Myanmar. He set up so many authentic experiences as he immersed us in the Burmese way of life. I could go on and on, but I'll try to wrap it up by saying this was the most personally expanding experience for me in terms of travel. There is so much to learn, see and FEEL in Myanmar.Remote Lands has done a great job in the vetting and hiring of their talented guides. They were excellent, professional, educational and personable.

We had a lovely trip in both Sri Lanka and the Maldives. The cultural triangle area was quite interesting and our guide and driver were friendly and informative. Thanks again for a very enjoyable two weeks.

This trip was a trip of a lifetime. We had such amazing and varied experiences that it is almost hard to put into words. Of course, a large part of the awe we felt was due to the destinations themselves but it cannot be understated how important of a role the care, support, and guidance Remote Lands played.
