Remote Lands did an amazing job of planning and executing our trip to Myanmar. Our guide Zaw Zaw was fantastic, and the itinerary succeeded in getting us off the beaten path as we desired. In our experience, the quality of the guide either makes or breaks the trip, and Zaw Zaw was perfect. He always had a smile, and accommodated our every request. He took us to restaurants with good food, but no tourists as we requested. He always made sure we were well taken care of. The absolute highlight of our trip was the floating candlelit dinner in Inle Lake, with Zaw Zaw and his family building a dining raft, and cooking a great dinner. What a wonderful night! A close second was visiting the hill tribes in Loikaw where few tourists have ventured. In one of the villages, we were asked to be the first to sign their guestbook! We will definitely recommend Remote Lands to our friends and family, and of course travel with Remote Lands on our next journey to Asia. Thank you for your efforts - you gave us a great experience that we will always remember!

Here are my few words about our wonderful trip to Myanmar. Our trip was truly amazing, very beautiful country. We especially enjoyed Loikaw and Putao, so pretty and special but mostly the people were so radiant, looked so happy and always had a smile on their faces – we could not stop taking pictures of their beautiful faces. Myanmar is still authentic.I want to thank Remote Lands very much for taking us to such a haven. Everything was perfectly planned. We liked our guide so much, professional and a lot of fun. He went out of his way to please us.

It is impossible to stop thinking about the amazing trip we had in the UAE.
I would like to begin by congratulating the entire Remote Lands team on the high quality of service that was delivered. From the very beginning... the brainstorming of ideas, considering our desires, needs & preferences, to organizing an unforgettable trip with a perfect agenda. Everything was absolutely perfect.
Sir Bani Yas Island is really an interesting and beautiful destination. The wildlife reserve is unique and it is just amazing how the Sheik transformed this island!! Arriving to Qsar al Sarab in the Empty Quarter Desert was breathtaking. It is absolutely gorgeous to be surrounded by all the sand dunes and the color of the beautiful sand. Zighy Bay is truly a gem - highlight of the trip!!! Then after all the resorts, it was fun to end the trip in the cosmopolitan city of Dubai.
We had a trip that was truly unforgettable and perfect in every sense. Thank you to Remote Lands for all the time, care and dedication that was invested to make it come true. Remote Lands is really an outstanding travel company!!! We cannot wait to plan another amazing adventure with them in the future. We still have so many destinations to explore and you can be sure that Remote Lands will be in charge of helping us discover them!

We cannot thank Remote Lands enough for their incredible expertise in planning this trip of a lifetime! The journey was spectacular in every way, and all of the hotels, guides and services made the experience even better than we could possibly have imagined. It’s difficult to pick one highlight, although spending our Thanksgiving at the orphanage in Siem Reap was such a humbling experience, and one that will live with us forever. Buying new beds for each of the children was the very least we could do, and although we live thousands of miles apart, we consider each and every one of them to be friends for life. We also loved the Temples of Angkor, and of course the Elephant Mahout training in Chiang Rai. We will definitely be working with Remote Lands for all future trips to Asia, you guys really knocked it out of the park!

Our trip was a perfect mixture of big cities and more remote places. All of our guides had very different personalities, and it was interesting to meet different people and hear their perspectives on China. Our guide at the Great Wall was unbelievable – much better than if we had gone on our own. And Ping An was so beautiful. We loved having dinner with our guide's parents – learning about the cultural revolution and Mao. Overall, it was an amazing trip.
